Ultimate Wedding Checklist for Marrying a Fisherman w/ Designer Amy Devito

Ultimate Wedding Checklist for Marrying a Fisherman w/ Designer Amy Devito

Sponsored by Buttercup Events Inc. Wedding photos by Kim Graham.

The most important part of my wedding, besides marrying Chris, was wearing my mom’s wedding dress. Next, I wanted to use palmetto roses as much as possible. I also knew where I wanted the reception and ceremony to be, but other than that I hadn’t a clue. That is, until my wedding designer, Amy DeVito stepped in. You met Amy last week when she shared pro-tips on how to stay sane during the wedding planning process. Advice on “how not to lose it,” if you will. I love how she broke it down for brides on a budget and what to focus on when your Pinterest board is loaded with so many ideas that you forget where you started. (Like, me.) If you missed it, check out 8 Tips for Marrying a Fisherman here.

When I first met with Amy, I was happy to learn that she offers Full Service and Partial Service packages for brides-to-be! Chris and I chose the partial service, which was perfect considering I had “my vibe” already figured out. But when vendor questions started coming in, I wigged. It wasn’t until Amy emailed a checklist of every minute detail to consider that I really felt in control of the most stressful and wonderful event I’ve ever planned. (After all, marrying Chris was the most important part of the week. But, you know. A bride’s gotta do what a bride’s gotta do.)

So now I’m sharing these golden nuggets with you! I’m not only revealing Amy’s wedding packages so you’ll know what to expect from a wedding designer but also her *MASTER CHECKLIST* so you can throw a wedding like a boss. (Oh, and wedding photos ensue.) Let’s get down to business, shall we?
