I’ll go first:

One of my favorite parts of being a POCF is the alone time. Although it can be challenging sometimes because I miss my fisherman, I love having the house to myself. Everything is exactly how I want it to be. I can burn sage (Chris doesn’t like the smell). I only have to think about what I want for dinner. I can work on projects as late as I want (like I’m typing to you right now at 7 pm on a Friday night. Of course, I love him and miss him, but what a freakin’ gift to be able to cultivate independence this way. (I’m sure you’ve heard me say this before, but it’s true!) Now, I’m going to watch reality TV without comment. (My guilty pleasure.) Let’s celebrate these times!
