Girl, SO RELATABLE about getting into it via phone about little things. In my experience (and other POCFs have said this, too), the feeling of missing each other can transform into silly arguments that don’t matter. The subtext is, “I miss you and wish I were with you!” It could also be the frustration that your fisherman wishes he could take care of it and be back in the safety of your cozy home. Congrats on his promotion going through, as well! I hope he’s enjoying his time out there. Will be thinking of you and sending love!
