Introducing the POCF Podcast! Here’s How To Listen (and be a guest, too)!

Y’all! I am so thrilled to announce that we have even more space on the internet just for us! The new Partners of Commercial Fishermen podcast has turned out to be one of the best moves for our community because you can listen and learn from other POCFs when you’re on the go. Are you busy with housework, exercising, or running errands? Now you can take us along with you. You are truly not alone!

I honestly teared up at this message because my life’s goal is to empower us, connect us, and make us feel less alone! I’m so happy that others are feeling value and love with each story we share. POCF Pride!

So far, there are 14 episodes ready for you to tune in at any time (a few you’ll see below), and wow, hearing actual voices from members of our community hits differently, you know? We are REAL and relatable AF!

I’ve also realized that by doing this podcast, we are creating an oral history of POCFs, which is so incredible.

We not only have a voice, but we have VOICES!

If you think about it, we are further cementing our place in the world while honoring past POCFs and helping future members join our beautiful crew. *Cue angels singing.*

It’s been such a gift to connect with POCFs around the country and hear about the highlights and challenges of their lifestyle, and I know you’ll think so, too. I just interviewed two POCFs regarding homeschooling and managing finances to give you an idea of what’s to come. We are diverse and have much to offer each other, and I’m honored to guard the soapbox on which we can stand.
